Real Madrid CAM Isco

Before the season was postponed in March, Isco was arguably Real Madrid’s most in-form attacking player alongside young left winger Vinicius Junior. Even in losses to Levante and Manchester City, Isco made his presence felt in a positive manner. He was tremendous in El Clasico, too.

Eibar are full of running and organization defensively, so Real Madrid will need to find moments of magic in the final third to break them down. Although Real beat them 4-0 earlier this season, Eibar are better than that result suggests. They will play Real harder the second time around. Isco’s deft touches and ability to score from nothing could make him a difference-maker.

Real Madrid RW Gareth Bale

It’s unclear if Gareth Bale will start on Sunday, but if Zinedine Zidane goes with a 4-3-3, then Bale would be the most likely option to start the game at right wing. He’d likely cede his spot to Marco Asensio in the second half, as the returning attacker will need some time to get his feet wet.

Bale’s health may not be 100 percent after he briefly missed training, but the foot ailment seems to be a non-issue as he’s back in training and ready to compete.

The Wales international hasn’t provided much to Real’s attack since his early-season brace in a 2-2 draw with Villarreal, but a combination of need and quality could enable him to bounce back. Madridistas can’t put anything past the club legend and former record-breaking transfer. Real Madrid will need him to be a consistent threat this week.
