Such is the passion of this 34-year old warrior that he started against Mallorca even though he suffered a knock to his knee in the match against Real Sociedad. This not only shows his determination to win every game for Los Blancos, but also how monumental a player Sergio Ramos is for the team.

Whenever he is there on the pitch, the team does not have to worry about anything. He leads from the front.

Sergio Ramos being Sergio Ramos, his offensive forays have already contributed to a goal. He has scored a penalty and a sublime free-kick too. Since the return, he has scored thrice, joint-highest with Karim Benzema, and helped the team keep three clean sheets.

The German Sniper has set such a high bar that his displays on the pitch seem like a normal outing on a Miami Beach. He just makes football look so, so, so effortless.

He has started all but one game, sitting out the game against Mallorca, although he did come off the bench. He has been the key to unlocking defenses, as his accurate long balls have caused a lot of problems to defenders, and no one can pull the strings in midfield as well as he can.

As Casemiro stated earlier this season, Toni Kroos decides the tempo of the game and orchestrates the entire play with his nimble feet and pinpoint passing. If he continues to perform at such high levels, Real Madrid’s midfield will win every battle in every game.
