Real Madrid have made some major signings in the last few transfer windows, but which ones have been the best?

Florentino Perez is always looking to fortify Real Madrid with the world’s best players, and he’s taken a special interest in signing young prospects, such as Reinier Jesus in the most recent winter transfer window, before they become big stars.

However, Real have splashed cash on some superstars recently, most prominently Chelsea’s Eden Hazard in the summer 2019 transfer window.

But who have been the three best transfers of the last three years?

LW Vinicius Junior

Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior joined Real Madrid for about the same amount of money as 18-year-old wingers from Brazil, so they will often be compared. But since we have one more year from which to evaluate Vini after he joined in the summer of 2018, the former Flamengo star gets the nod here.

Already, Vinicius is a game-changer. It is astounding how good he is at creating opportunities for others by tirelessly progressing with the ball at his feet. The 19-year-old can score, too, referring to his wonderful chipped goal against Mallorca.

There are only a handful of players in world football with as much potential as Vinicius, so it’s safe to say that Real Madrid made a wise decision to buy him for under 50 million euros two years ago.
