Is the form still there?

When Real Madrid steps foot on the pitch tomorrow night in England, it will be the first time in nearly three weeks they have played a match.

City, on the other hand, last played a week after Real had wrapped up the league season. Unlike City, Real Madrid gave their players a week off to vacation and rest up for the UCL meeting. The motivation to get up for a match like this is unnecessary as both sides know what is at stake.

The question here is, can Los Blancos maintain that form they had in league play after a lengthy break and winning the league title?

Thibaut Courtois was brilliant all season and was even better after the restart in June. The two goals City scored were lucky and from the penalty spot. I have little doubt Courtois can hold the attack at bay.
