Houssem Aouar

Houssem Aouar is a class midfielder.

He is a top talent with incredible passing and ball-carrying abilities. At just 22, he led Lyon to the Champions League semifinal and put on a showcase against Manchester City in the quarterfinal.

With Luka Modric on his last legs at Real Madrid and Toni Kroos with only a few more years left in his contract, Los Blancos need a revitalized midfield. Martin Odegaard will be back this coming season and will alleviate some issues of replacing the three-peat winning midfielders.

However, one player cannot compensate for two of the best midfielders in the world. And this is where Aouar enters the frame. The Lyon midfielder will be the perfect partner to Odegaard.

Both of them have skill sets that complement each other. Aouar can form a long-lasting partnership with the Norwegian in the midfield and can become a dominating force for years to come.

Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga is one of the hottest young midfielders in the world right now. The Real Champs staff unanimously identified the Rennes midfielder as that one player Los Blancos needed to sign other than Kylian Mbappe during the end of the season round table and for very good reason. The young Frenchman is a generational talent and can fill multiple roles at Real Madrid.

Camavinga is a defensive midfielder who, at only 17 years of age, already reads the game at an elite level and boasts an exquisite defensive output. There are still some kinks to his game, but time is also on his side.

He will be the ideal backup to Casemiro and eventually take the reigns from the Brazilian. He can also easily play in any of the midfield positions if needed, which allows him to get more game time and thus help with his development.

If Real Madrid hopes to have long term success, Camavinga will be on their list of signings within the next two years.
