Real Madrid RW Rodrygo Goes

Although the young Brazilian has been registered with Real Madrid Castilla for the upcoming season, Zinedine Zidane holds the forward in high regard. Rodrygo has had an interesting first season in the Bernabeu and his tactical maturity is one of the reasons why he is highly valued.

His assist against Manchester City was an indication of how he is unfettered even in high-pressure situations which was also seen as he stepped up in the penalty shootout against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Supercup. Although Rodrygo can play a variety of roles across the front line, with Asensio out, he will be the most likely candidate to slot into the right side of the attack in Zidane’s 4-3-3. His exemplary work rate is one of the reasons Zidane prefers having him in the lineup as he is comfortable both with and without the ball at his feet.

He has also shown that he has an eye for goal that will be necessary for Real as Zidane will look to revamp the attack in this season and he might continue to get more minutes with the first team and he has already shown that rising to the occasion hasn’t been a problem for him.
