Real Madrid’s ability to rotate the squad

There are two things certain in life, Real winning titles and Zinedine Zidane surprising us with new starting lineups every week. When it comes to experimenting and trying different dynamics on the field, no matter which team we are facing, Zizou always surprises us one hour before the kickoff with squad rotation.

There is no doubt that Los Blancos have one of the best squads in Europe and that means, choosing a starting lineup every game is the opposite of easy. With eight attackers, six midfielders, eight defenders, three goalkeepers and not to forget the breakthrough talents from Castilla to choose from, the Frenchman has a lot of talent at his disposal. Every position is filled with stars and leaders for the younger players to play and learn around them.

Thankfully Zizou knows how to keep up with the dressing room and maintain a different relationship with every player, which helps him to choose his starting XI and get the best out of players. Zizou’s rotation skills and the trust the players have in him is the sole reason that the Frenchman is able to give everyone equal game time and a steady start to the season.

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic

For a 60 million euro, talented young signing, Jović had a nightmare for a first season, but with the manager on his side and fans rooting for him after his two starts for Los Blancos in four games already, it looks like he is finally finding his feet.

After a bad start at his new club, it is only human to lose confidence, scoring only twice and assisting once in the whole campaign, it was a dreadful time for a young player filled with so much talent and potential. While he lacked the goal-scoring ability and wasn’t able to provide as much as all of us thought he would, it was not just about his form, the lack of game time was also a major problem in Luka Jović’s case.

Moving forward, with two great starts with a promising form, Jović is getting there one step at a time. Fans are looking forward to seeing more of Real’s two strikers pairing up and if he gets the game time and gains back his form, the opponent won’t be resting easy.
