Donny van de Beek has been a target for Real Madrid over the past couple of seasons. In fact, Los Blancos were even competing for his signature earlier last year before Manchester United snapped him up. Since then, it turned out to be an epic disaster for Van de Beek at the Theatre of Dreams.

With Isco and Dani Ceballos most likely being sold next summer, the signing of Van de Beek could be a good option. However, it is quite an unlikely one as Real prefers going for Eduardo Camavinga instead. But if the Camavinga deal does not go through for some reason, then turning towards Van de Beek could be a smart decision.

A possible loan deal with an option to buy would be the best situation. This way Los Blancos would be in a safer spot in case Van de Beek fails to adjust to life in the Spanish capital and if he does hit the ground running then Real would have the option of activating the option to buy.
