Mauricio Pochettino, who was the favourite to replace Zinedine Zidane may have signed for Paris Saint-Germain but that does not mean there are not worthy enough replacements up for grab. Thomas Tuchel, a successful manager with Borussia Dortmund and PSG is currently without a job, as is Massimiliano Allegri.

Raul Gonzalez is also doing a terrific job with the Castilla side and guided them to a UEFA Youth League title last season. If the club wants blood from within, then their second all-time top scorer could be a solid addition to the helm as well. Madrid right now are in need of a tactical revolution and that’s the reason it is not amiable for Zidane to continue.

Zidane was perhaps backed in the past because of the lack of options available to replace him, but the same cannot be said now, especially when two Champions League finalists are there. Only time will tell whether Florentino Perez will show Zizou the door, but there are lesser and lesser reasons for us to continue supporting the Frenchman.
