STAY AT REAL MADRID!

There is no confirmation yet that Zinedine Zidane will be leaving Real Madrid. The French manager could possibly continue if Florentino Perez assures him a winning project. It’s like the 2017/18 season all over again when Zizou decided to part ways after winning the Champions League because his requests were not met by the president.

However, this time around, it is quite evident that the Frenchman is the best option given the lack of free agent managers available at the moment. Zinedine Zidane can successfully rebuild this squad into a winning project if the club ends up signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG and renews the contracts of key defenders Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vazquez.

The returns of talented loanees Martin Odegaard and Brahim Diaz next season will further strengthen the bench and the likes of Miguel Gutierrez, Antonio Blanco, and Sergio Arribas have also proven their worth this season to be promoted to the first team. Eder Militao has only stepped up in Ramos’s absence with Zidane’s backing and confidence. The 48-year-old has worked wonders this season with a severely limited squad and he can lead Los Blancos back to glory if he is backed in the upcoming transfer window.
