CRISTIANO RONALDO

Real Madrid have struggled since Cristiano Ronaldo‘s departure in 2018. Karim Benzema has had to shoulder the responsibility to fill Ronaldo’s void, meanwhile, all attempts at replacing the Portuguese have failed miserably.

Let’s say, we don’t get Kylian Mbappe this summer and we have to wait until 2022. Why not consider re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo? He’s still at the top of his game at 36 years of age, scoring 36 goals for Juventus this season.

Los Blancos desperately require a goal-scorer alongside Benzema and bringing Ronaldo back for a season or two does not sound too bad, does it? A last dance for the greatest player to have worn the white shirt would be a treat for all Madridista’s around the world.

As of now, there is speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo might leave Juventus. Carlo Ancelotti was asked about possibly re-signing the Portuguese, however, he preferred not to speak about a player of another team. Ancelotti would certainly love to have Ronaldo back at his camp and we could possibly see the rebirth of the BBC if Gareth Bale stays on for his final season.

Ronaldo was a beast under Ancelotti in 2013/14 and 2014/15, the Italian knows how to make the most of the Portuguese and his return could potentially solve the goal-scoring woes.
