4. Sevilla LW Lucas Ocampos

Lucas Ocampos of Sevilla had a great season. Towards the ending ambers of the season, Sevilla was pretty much alive in the race towards finishing third, above FC Barcelona which in itself is a great achievement in a league that is generally dominated by the big three, the two clubs from Madrid and Blaugrana.

In their heroics from last season, Lucas Ocampos was a key pillar. He started 30 of Sevilla’s 38 matches and made another four appearances as a substitute. He appeared 23 times on the left wing this season. And, in them, he played well enough to be rated at an average of 7.05 by WhoScored. One of the more consistent wide players in the league, Ocampos was seen ten times on the right wing too, and at times in a more suited midfield role on the left.
