EDEN HAZARD VS VINICIUS JUNIOR

A couple of injury-ridden seasons for Eden Hazard opened the door for Vinicius Junior to establish himself as a mainstay in the Real Madrid squad. Barring a finishing attribute that is below average, the Brazilian is a fantastic talent and has everything that a left winger must have, from good dribbling to pace. However, in the upcoming season, he may be in for some stern competition.

There is a lot of onus on Eden Hazard to deliver the goods and his recent run of fortunate fitness suggests that the Belgian international will return to being a first choice player under Carlo Ancelotti, especially after resolving his ankle issues under Antonio Pintus. Needless to say, a fit Eden Hazard is arguably the best left winger in the world and he needs to show that in Madrid.

With Vinicius also showing that he is a worthy enough candidate for the first team and good enough to be a regular, this will be one of the most interesting squad battles to watch for not just within Real Madrid, but in the world as a whole. The main question here will be who delivers better under pressure and the one who does the job better will no doubt be the go to option for Real.
