PRESNEL KIMPEMBE – PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN

If Los Blancos are ready to wait until June 2022, Presnel Kimpembe could be a brilliant option to consider given that his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends in 2024 and the next summer transfer window could be Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s last chance to earn big money by selling the Frenchman, who has lost his number 4 and perhaps his starting role to Sergio Ramos at the club.

Ancelotti has already added the player to his shortlist of personal targets at Real Madrid, whereas Chelsea had also explored the idea of signing him, before eventually turning to Jules Kounde. Kimpembe could cost the club lesser than Kounde or Torres did, but he has more experience than either of the La Liga defenders and arguably also has better quality in the heart of the backline.

At 25 years of age, Kimpembe could be on the lookout for regular minutes and if Mauricio Pochettino cannot guarantee those to the French international in the upcoming campaign, his future is likely to twist in a different direction than the Parc des Princes next year. Real Madrid can surely consider signing him and add him to their shortlist of probable signings too.

Which other players do you think the Whites can target to replace Varane?
