CRISTIANO RONALDO- JUVENTUS

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus and it has been a few months since he was first linked with a reunion with Real Madrid. The rumours caught fire once again with the player still keen on leaving Juventus and securing a return to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, especially to play under Carlo Ancelotti- who got the very best out of the Portuguese in their two years together.

At 36 years of age, the former Manchester United winger will not be an expensive option at all, and more so because he is in the final year of his contract at Juventus. Plus, if he is keen on returning to Real Madrid, it means he will have to take a cut in his wage because a 30 million euros worth of annual salary is something the club cannot offer with various other objectives in mind.

Florentino Perez said that Ronaldo’s return to Real Madrid does not make sense for the club, but if the Portugal international is ready to make financial sacrifices and can somehow convince the club to sign him, he will be a very good acquisition. Even off the field, Ronaldo’s worth and image will help them bounce back and once again reach the podium of world football, which they so deserve.
