ERLING HAALAND- BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are set to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on the awards podium going forward, and if the Whites cannot sign one of them, their best bet is to go for the other option- which in this case is the Norwegian marksman. The 21-year-old is a wanted property and will cost 175 million euros plus bonuses to Mino Raiola, in the summer market.

Although his release clause worth 75 million euros will be active just next year, Real Madrid could try to sign him this summer. He is an out and out goal-scorer and just like his counterpart in Mbappe, Haaland is a guaranteed success wherever he goes next. One of the only drawbacks with signing the former Red Bull Salzburg striker this year is that the transfer will be worth a lot really.

While 175 million euros is in itself a massive sum, although it can be paid over instalments over a year or more’s period, Raiola’s high personal demands will make it tough to sign Haaland this summer. The Italian super-agent is set to demand around 40 million euros in compensation for his services, whereas the player’s father will also need to be paid a significant amount for brokering the deal.
