THERE ARE NO SERIOUS COMPETITORS TO CHALLENGE REAL MADRID

Let’s go back a couple of months, clubs such as Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were all linked with Erling Haaland.

Currently, Chelsea have already agreed to a deal in principle with Inter Milan over the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. We can now strike Chelsea off the list. Manchester City have turned their attention towards Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and can now be struck off the list.

Paris Saint-Germain have now signed Lionel Messi until 2023 and are now linked with a possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2022 if Kylian Mbappe leaves as a free agent. Strike PSG off the list as well.

Bayern Munich have already shown their disinterest in signing Erling Haaland and they are very much happy with Robert Lewandowski who still continues to fire at all cylinders. It doesn’t seem they’d be interested right now either.

The only possible serious competitor for Real Madrid would be Manchester United next summer. However, Real Madrid again have the upper hand over the Red Devils because of Florentino Perez’s relationship with Dortmund’s board, along with the cordial relationship the club shares with super-agent Mino Raiola as opposed to Manchester United’s strained relationship.
