GARETH BALE – FORWARD

Gareth Bale has started the 2021-22 season on a fantastic note with club and country. The Welsh international has silenced his harshest of critics after scoring a hattrick for Wales against Belarus in the international break.

The 32-year-old looks rejuvenated under Carlo Ancelotti but an unfortunate hamstring injury is set to keep him out until early October. When Bale returns back to action, the former Spurs star will be under immense pressure to deliver at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Gareth Bale has been on the receiving end of cheers and jeers from the supporters at home over the years. The fans have not been very supportive of Bale who has openly spoken his harsh treatment from the crowd.

Next. Real Madrid seem to have finally found a way to sell Dani Ceballos. dark

This time around, Bale has a point to prove and that he can win back the hearts of the supporters with his performances. Carlo Ancelotti considers him to be a vital member of his squad and the player looks determined to make an impact this season.

With less than a year left on his contract, I hope Gareth Bale can receive the grandest farewell by the supporters at the Santiago Bernabeu. He’s a Real Madrid legend through and through who has been misunderstood many a time by the fans and media who have been far too rough on him.
