Eduardo Camavinga

The former Rennes player joined us this season, and he has settled pretty quickly. It was great to see how Camavinga made an impact in the few minutes he has played for Real Madrid till now. Unlike some former youngsters, like Odegaard, Camavinga seems to be in no hurry to play for the club.

He is yet to start his first game for the club and has been eagerly waiting till now. He knows that any manager will prefer Luka Modric over him any day and he is right. Despite turning 36 years this season, Luka plays like a 26-year-old. I have said this before too, that Luka’s presence in midfield is very important for Real Madrid and Camavinga has realized this too.

He is happy to play for his dream club- Real Madrid, even if it means he will have a substitute’s role. However, the Frenchman has played so well that Ancelotti is highly impressed by his stunning displays.

He has managed to score a goal, and get an assist in the total of 57 minutes he has played so far which is way too impressive for an 18-year-old. All his efforts have borne fruits so far and a chance has finally come begging for him.

As predicted by Hasan Karim, I too believe that Eduardo Camavinga will very likely start the game against Mallorca ahead of a tired Luka Modric.
