PAUL POGBA

Paul Pogba is in the final year of his contract at Manchester United and like his teammates, is staring at a fifth straight season without a piece of silverware at club level. For the Frenchman, that is certainly an underachievement considering that he is one of the world’s best midfielders and also one of the most expensive signings in the Red Devils’ long and illustrious history.

Pogba has been a winner at Juventus and with the French national team, and at 28 years of age, it will only be normal if his heart sets sail on a move away from Manchester United- who have started the season in an unconvincing manner under Solskjaer. The midfielder has continuously been linked with Real Madrid, even at present, and he would be an incredible signing as well.

Pogba is in his prime now and in an attacking role, he can flourish with his passing range and shooting from distance. Plus, he already has great chemistry with Benzema and potential Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe. That will make the coach’s job also easier in connecting the team’s offensive dots because Luka Modric, a veteran and key member, may be in his final year at the club.
