Alaba being 29 years old might raise some question marks regarding his inclusion in this list, as we also have to consider a player’s resale value, which is highly influenced by age. But in Alaba’s case, his versatility just outweighs the age factor. He’s someone who can play as a centre-back, a left-back, a defensive-midfielder, and also as a central midfielder.
