After entering the pitch for an injured Karim Benzema with the mood somber, Jovic did not immediately give Madridistas reason for hope with a subdued first-half performance.
But after presumably getting more instruction – and thus confidence -at the break, the backup striker showed his world-class potential and 2018-2019 quality at Eintracht Frankfurt. Jovic was more involved off the ball than ever before in La Liga, and he finished with the decisive assist and goal in a massive 2-0 win in a tough environment.
If he can stand out against Inter with Benzema still out, then Jovic could earn more opportunities. Maybe he can even prove he is a part of Madrid’s future.

RW Rodrygo Goes
Rodrygo Goes scored the winning goal the last time Real Madrid faced Inter Milan. And that was not the first time the young winger played the hero against the Serie A giants. Marco Asensio should not be starting for Real when he and Rodrygo are both the options at right winger. Rodrygo is the man for the job.
