I wouldn’t say things are up in the air regarding the transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid again, but there are reports which may cause some sort of concern among the fans. There was a report from ESPN the other day, but the reality is, there shouldn’t really be a concern. Mbappe should join Real Madrid in the summer, and the day would be special.

Like I said in my previous article, there are a lot of things Real Madrid can offer Mbappe that PSG can’t. Those things can be on the pitch, off the pitch, him being the face of the team for years to come, not to mention his dream to actually play for the club as well.

This one thing I wanted to talk about today is something that has to do with actual football. It’s about how Mbappe would feel playing with that legendary midfield trio of Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric.

Kylian Mbappe would relish playing with one of the greatest midfield trios ever

Of course, we need this to happen. We need Mbappe to join the club as soon as possible for this to happen since, you know, one-third of the trio is 37 years old. Granted, Luka Modric is playing like a God even at this age, but the sooner Mbappe comes, the better it is for the whole team. Because playing with this fantastic midfield trio would be a blessing for any top player. And when your top player in question is Kylian Frickin’ Mbappe, things escalate to an unimaginable level.

Do you remember Vinicius Junior’s first goal against Liverpool? Of course you do. Toni Kroos’ pass was one of the best moments of the year for Madridistas, and it was just beautiful. Now, put Mbappe on the end of the pass, and one can imagine it happening at least a few times a season considering the qualities and tendencies of the two players.

Right now, he plays with a decent midfield. PSG have good players, even though they haven’t gelled together as well as you would like. Here’s the thing, though, that midfield, even at their best, doesn’t come close to Real’s current midfield, and that’s a fact. I think that could be the deciding factor in the game against PSG in February.

Luka Modric is still playing like the best midfielder in the world, and it wouldn’t really be a stretch to consider both Kroos and Modric as the top two midfielders in the world at the moment, and coupling them with Kylian Mbappe would be a dream come true for any midfield in the world, and it works both ways. Casemiro is, at his best, at least top three in his position, and as we have seen countless times before, he possesses a great pass, even though he’s not consistent enough with it. Him pinging a long ball towards Mbappe could also work out very well, whereas Mbappe could try to become an outlet for Casemiro to pass the ball to whenever he’s under pressure.

Next. Here’s why Rodrygo hasn’t been able to nail down his spot in the Real Madrid XI. dark

The chemistry that the three midfielders share is immaculate, and it would really be great to see Mbappe join in on the action He’s a player who’s known for his pace but he is also a really good linking pin between the midfield and attack, if asked to do so. He’s an underrated passer, as we can see by his assists tally this season. All signs point to Real Madrid having a fantastic season with all these four players next season, should Mbappe arrive.
