Eder Militao

This guy’s incredible. I really, really don’t have many words to talk about his greatness. Writing about Militao in this article makes sense in many ways. Well, for one, Real Madrid simply can not let him go. Secondly, there are clubs that actually want him right now, particularly Chelsea.

But even though Chelsea are a good destination for Eder Militao, and they can give him a lot of money, Real Madrid’s just a step above. They’ve always been that way. The club’s aura is enough to attract many players even if they’re being offered more money elsewhere, and the club’s aura is enough to keep the best players around for a long period of time. Once you leave Real Madrid, your career only goes downhill.

Eder Militao has formed an impeccable partnership with David Alaba, one of Real Madrid’s only two signings last summer. Even though there are other centre-backs that Real would be looking at soon, Militao’s role will not change.

Is there any centre-back in the world that has more potential than Eder Militao, and is performing at this level at this age? You could make an argument for a couple of players, but the truth is, Militao is the best young centre-back in the world, even if he gets overlooked by the masses.

In fact, he’s one of the best centre-backs in the world as well, and his consistency is commendable. Time after time, the Brazilian has almost single-handedly saved Real in tough situations. The guy’s only 24 years old, he’s going to get much better in a few years, and that’s when we’ll truly see why Real Madrid were so adamant about signing him a few years ago, and why they paid so much money for him.
