It’s been a few days since we saw a big news story about Kylian Mbappe’s imminent transfer to Real Madrid next season. It’s mainly because there’s not a lot to report on. Some of the most prominent reporters have already said that Real Madrid signed Mbappe more than a month ago, and that everything is done.

While we haven’t received the “Here-we-go” from Fabrizio Romano yet, it should happen soon enough. He says that the contract is ready for Mbappe to sign, and the whole world expects him to sign with Real Madrid now.

But, MARCA reported an intriguing bit of news not too long ago. It was about the Frenchman’s contract. According to the report, Mbappe’s signing bonus would be up to 80 million euros.

80 million euros is a huge signing bonus, but Kylian Mbappe fully deserves it

We have to realise here, that, even though 80 million is an astounding amount of money, we’re talking about a top-two player in the world here. Mbappe has been incredible this season, and even with all the stars PSG went ahead and signed – a huge, huge failure by the way – their main guy is still none other than Kylian Mbappe.

He’s carried them in every game, and there’s no doubt why the club wants to renew him, even though it’s just not going to happen.

When you take all of that into account, and the fact that the player rejected a million a week offer, and a BLANK cheque offer from PSG, you think to yourself, “Hmm, maybe 80 million is not that bad.”

Mbappe will be the best player in the world for years to come, and it’s a fact. It’s been known for a few years now, and even though Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior and some other players are amazing, I doubt anyone would be able to surpass him.

The huge signing bonus, especially considering Mbappe is joining for no transfer fee, is justified, Even 80 million would look like a bargain in a few years. He’d show the world he’s worth far, far more than that.
