Real Madrid have enquired about the perfect Kylian Mbappe alternative
Real Madrid probably realise, after the failed Kylian Mbappe transfer, that they have to make some signings in the attack so that they’re able to compete at the top level for years to come. They have Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes, but they need someone else, someone else that can get them goals consistently, and there are options.
Of course, there aren’t many players that would replicate what Kylian Mbappe would’ve provided, but there are players that are still great at putting the ball in the back of the net, and one of them plays for Bayern Munich.
Serge Gnabry is a name that has been popping up a little bit because of his contract situation at Bayern. He has one year left on his contract, and according to multiple journalists in Germany, he will not be extending his contract. One reason could be a lack of playing time, which he will get plenty of, should he join Real Madrid.
Serge Gnabry would be a great right-winger at Real Madrid
Florian Plettenberg mentioned, via MiaSanMia that Gnabry won’t renew his contract, and the only question is whether he would leave this year or on a free transfer next year. Tobi Altschäffl, via MiaSanMia has said that Bayern would look to sell him this summer if he chooses not to extend with the club, and that Real Madrid have enquired about him.
I really think Real Madrid going for Aurelien Tchouameni, Serge Gnabry, Fran Garcia and maybe a back-up striker would be a fantastic transfer window. Serge Gnabry has scored 10 or more goals in the league in all six of his seasons in the Bundesliga. Real Madrid, currently, only have two players they can count on to score 15 or more a season, and if Gnabry gets enough playing time, he would be able to give the club that much, at the very least.
A front three of Vinicius Jr., Karim Benzema and Serge Gnabry would be deadly, and considering the fact that Gnabry should be entering his prime very soon makes it even better.
I think Real should go all in for Gnabry. Even though I would love to see Rodrygo blossom as a footballer, I still think his best position is as a left-winger and he has some way to go before he can become a nailed-down starter at that RW spot. He’s been great this season, but most of his good performances were either on the left-wing or off the bench, so he needs to take a leap soon enough.

Until he does, Gnabry would be a great shout. He has links with Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger from the German team, and David Alaba from the Austrian’s days at Bayern, so settling in wouldn’t be an issue. It all depends on Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez.
