The profile of player Real Madrid correctly won’t try to sign this summer

While Real Madrid celebrate their 14th Champions League title, the message from Florentino Perez, Carlo Ancelotti, and the rest of the club’s key decision-makers is clear. There will be no rest until the 15th is achieved. The eye is now on the future, which means the summer transfer window is the main topic of discussion.

Aurelien Tchuoameni is in view as the top transfer target after Kylian Mbappe decided to stay with PSG, but there is no crying over the turtle.

In fact, Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Los Blancos are not looking for an alternative to Mbappe. He writes that while Real Madrid have been linked to Milan’s world-class youngster Rafael Leao and Carlo’s former star Richarlison at Everton, Florentino Perez and Jose Angel Sanchez are not interested in signing that profile of player. They will not go for a left winger.

In the case of Richarlison, everyone can get behind that. And while Leao truly is amazing and was vital to the Rossoneri winning the Scudetto, Real Madrid are not going to pay over 100 million euros for a player when they have someone even better in that position.

Vinicius Jr. is the left winger of the present and future. The man scored the winning goal in the Champions League Final and had 17 goals and 10 assists in LaLiga. He is already one of the five best players on the planet.

Behind him, Rodrygo Goes can play on the left wing. Eden Hazard is still on the team, too. So that gives the Merengues three talented left wingers – one of them is sure-fire world-class in Vini Jr., and the other two *could* be, depending on how things go.

If Real Madrid need an attacker, then it is someone on the right wing. The only right-footer of interest to the Merengues should be Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry, who has one year on his contract.
