Real Madrid will regret passing up on Serge Gnabry
Real Madrid needs to sign a forward this summer, with Bale leaving the club and Asensio, Jovic, and Mariano’s futures up in the air. The club has been linked with a lot of names, including names like Serge Gnabry and Gabriel Jesus.
Gabriel Jesus was linked a lot to the club in recent days, but the fact that he is a non-EU player and all the three non-EU spots at Real Madrid are occupied by Vinicius, Militao and Rodrygo make a transfer improbable.
So this might make some fans think that Real Madrid will now go after Serge Gnabry, as they’ve wrapped up the Aurelien Tchouameni deal. But journalist Santos Relevo seems to be thinking the opposite, as he has reported that Gnabry isn’t an option for Real Madrid this summer.
This comes just two days after Jose Felix Diaz’s report that insists Los Blancos won’t sign Gnabry because they believe that Rodrygo and Asensio are there in his position.
If these reports are true, then this is a decision the club might regret in the future.
It is rare to see top-class attackers being priced reasonably these days
In this highly inflated transfer market, attackers won’t come cheap for any club. Even a one-season wonder might cost more than 100 million these days. In such a market, a quality attacker like Gnabry, who has a year remaining on his contract, is being quoted at 40 million euros, and that is a deal that might prove to be a steal.
Gnabry isn’t any unproven player, he’s a Champions League winner and has been a great player for a top European club in Bayern Munich. He’s a player any club wouldn’t think twice about buying.
And this might be the only opportunity Real Madrid would get to sign Gnabry, as Bayern reportedly want to sell him this summer if he doesn’t renew. And opportunities like these won’t come regularly.

There might be other players in the market, but looking at Real Madrid’s struggles in identifying and buying the best-suited player for their right-wing, passing up on Gnabry might be a decision that the club will regret.
