There are a lot of things Real Madrid are good at, and one of them is planning for the present and the future at the same time. It’s actually very underrated how good their academy is, and how many players that come out of that academy become great players. Dani Carvajal, Nacho Fernandez, Achraf Hakimi are just some of the great players that Real Madrid have developed from the get-go, and there are plenty more to follow.

There are many players on this Castilla team that could prove to be really, really important for Real Madrid in the future. This is why, according to MARCA, Real Madrid are going to be renewing the contracts of two of their most highly-rated prospects in Peter Federico and Sergio Arribas.

Carlos Dotor, another Castilla player, will be getting a renewal as well. Latasa was the first one that was rumored to get renewed, and now, these three talented players have joined him as well. With the signing of Noel Lopez, Castilla are going to be a very fun team to watch next season.

Peter and Arribas can become very important players for Real Madrid in the future

I think I rate Arribas the highest out of everyone on the Castilla team. He’s so, so good, and even though he’s labelled as someone who’s short and not that strong, I just think he has the potential to be an important first-team player for Real Madrid in the future. His best position is as a CAM or as a second striker, but he’s played as a winger many times, and that’s one position where Real Madrid might need to play him at some point in the future.

Peter Federico is another very, very talented forward who is a natural right-winger, with a lot of skill and potency. I just love to watch him play, and even though he is a little inconsistent, I think Peter could become a very good player one day.

These two kids are very good, maybe even too good to play for Castilla, but it was important to renew their contracts with the club because now they can send them out on loan to different La Liga teams.

Once they’ve fully developed, who knows, maybe Real Madrid keep them and turn them into first-team players, or sell them on for a good price and earn some money. I do think keeping them at Castilla is also a very good option, because Raul is a great coach and he’d be able to develop them even more.

Carlos Dotor is a good player, but I don’t think he’s as good as Arribas and Peter. But, Real Madrid can sell him on once he develops to attain a fat profit on him as well. He’s good enough to play for a LaLiga club, that is for sure. It’s tough for me to see him succeed at Real Madrid, though.
