We all know how the Kylian Mbappe saga panned out. From there, we knew that Real Madrid had money to spend, but they’d only spend it on players they know they need. They wouldn’t spend it just for the sake of spending money, just because they have it.
Real Madrid have since signed Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni, and are now focusing on players. Even though Mbappe was a huge part of their future, they didn’t really sign a player that would’ve been able to somewhat fill the void that Mbappe himself would’ve filled.
There weren’t a lot of options in the market, but there is one player that I would’ve liked Real Madrid to spend money on. That player is Serge Gnabry.
According to AS, Real Madrid are attentive to Gnabry’s situation at Bayern, and the player himself is aware of that, but he is currently prioritizing a renewal with Bayern over signing for Real.
Serge Gnabry would be much better off at Real Madrid
Gnabry would’ve been an incredible signing for Los Blancos. I am a huge fan of the player and I really think he would succeed if he joins the club. However, he feels comfortable at Bayern and would like to continue there if the offer is good enough.
Here’s the thing, though: He’d get much more playing time at Real Madrid than he would at Bayern, simply because of the number of quality players that the German club has in his position.
Musiala, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and now Sadio Mane; there are so many great options at Bayern in the positions Gnabry would be great at.
If we’re talking about Real Madrid, he’d only be competing with Rodrygo, and maybe Eden Hazard. Valverde plays sometimes on the right-wing, but I doubt that’d continue to happen if Real sign Gnabry.
Point is, if Gnabry joins Real, it’d be good for him. The experience would be different, the style of play, everything would be very different, and even though Bundesliga is a fun league to watch, La Liga, in my opinion, is just better. It’s more tactical, more methodical, and I think Gnabry would be able to thrive more.

I don’t really understand why he’d choose Bayern, but I guess he feels comfortable living in Germany and wouldn’t want to move unless the parties can’t reach an agreement. A shame, really. I would’ve loved to watch him play for Madrid, but I guess that’s out of the window, at least for now.
