The most ideal transfer target is slipping away from Real Madrid

I have long been an advocate of the fact that Real Madrid need to sign a winger before the current transfer window ends, because the options that they currently have aren’t good enough. By that I mean the right-wing spot, especially, because other than Rodrygo, there isn’t really a player on the roster I trust that can bring a lot to the table offensively.

Of course, Fede Valverde has proven to be a reliable option there but he provides the team with a lot more than just offense, and his main traits that come into play are pressing, defending and ball carrying. Real Madrid don’t expect offensive contributions from him, which is why he only starts there sometimes.

Rodrygo is, obviously, a very good option to have, but I am such a big fan of Serge Gnabry potentially playing for Real Madrid, it’s not even funny at this point. I am trying to will Gnabry to Real Madrid, and it doesn’t look like I am doing a great job.

According to SPORT1, Bayern are very confident that Gnabry will choose to extend with them.

Welp.

Real Madrid need to push hard for Gnabry, because he’s the perfect option for the RW spot

With each new report, it just looks like Real Madrid are not going to push for Gnabry, but I don’t see why not. He’s an excellent player, and he’d make an impact almost instantly. Gnabry is a good big-game player and is definitely hungry to win, and to play more. The German is right-footed but he’s also versatile, he can play in multiple positions, and is a great presser as well, but I just don’t know why Real don’t see him as a good fit.

Gnabry’s linkup play is awesome, I think he’d be a seamless fit, kind of like how Alaba has been. Well, not exactly like that, but I still think he’s a very Real Madrid-like player, and the club needs to push for him.

It’s not completely done, yet, either. The contract is not signed, and if the club isn’t able to come to an agreement with the player’s entourage, they’ll definitely look to move him, which is why I think Real should be attentive to the situation and go in with an offer as soon as possible. It’s the only way to lure Gnabry to Real Madrid, and he really could help the team.

Marco Asensio is going to leave, and even though he wasn’t an outright starter, he still scored a few goals every season, and if Real get Gnabry, they’d be doing a huge upgrade on Asensio, which is something I have been wanting for ages now.
