After signing Caroline Weir on a free transfer, a 20-year-old striker by the name of Naomie Feller from Paris has been signed by Real Madrid Femenino with the aim of playing in the Champions League. The superstar has been named one of UEFA’s top 10 up-and-coming female players for 2022. The athlete is born in Paris and had her training at AFC Creil and US Chantilly.

Feller joined the Stade de Reims in the summer of 2018 and played a key role in the club’s promotion to Division 1. She identified the D1 for the 2019-2020 season and demonstrated her potential by signing in particular spectacular performances against OL and PSG. Her outstanding performances earned her selection to every France youth squad, as well as the U19 European Championship.

During her time at Reims, Feller was sent on loan to OL in early 2020 where she won the UEFA Champions League, Women’s Division 1, and the French Cup. The player made only two appearances and scored one goal.

In 2020, the French prodigy suffered an ACL injury that sidelined her for nearly a year. She was able to regain her abilities thanks to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Feller could be a fantastic addition to Real Madrid Femenino

Looking at Feller’s numbers, they don’t appear to be as appealing as one would like, but at the age of 20, I believe she is a raw talent with the potential to become an important asset for Real Madrid Femenino.

A brilliant player with incredible speed who can wreak havoc on defenders. If given the opportunity to play wide, she would seize it. Playing as a forward would put her in competitive rivalry for minutes, but at the age of 20, I believe Feller should be coached to play a different position that will allow her to reach her full potential and show the world just how good of a player she is.

The Paris-born attacker was called up by head coach Corinne Deacon to compete in the 2023 World Cup qualifying games against Kazakhstan on October 26 in Nur-Sultan and Estonia on October 22 in Créteil.

The coach has a lot of work ahead of him, but one thing is certain: The addition of Naomie Feller to the squad is a fantastic investment.
