Real Madrid’s summer window may not have had the greatest number of players signed, but the immediate impact of the few additions has been considerably greater than a number of unneeded signings.

Aurelien Tchouameni’s arrival has proven to be extremely beneficial for the European champions, and the player will only improve with time. The midfield trio of Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, and the newly signed Frenchman has built the groundwork for the club’s future at Santiago Bernabeu.

However, Real Madrid’s leaders appear to think that when Toni Kroos and Luka Modric do depart in the future, another last addition will be required to settle the midfield for the next decade or so.

This desired last addition is the English phenomenon Jude Bellingham, who has aroused the curiosity of various teams around Europe, including Real Madrid, who believe he will be the ideal last piece of the puzzle to slot into their youthful midfield and secure the area for many years. And it looks like there have been some significant developments in the Spanish giants’ pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund prodigy.

Jude Bellingham wants to play for Real Madrid

As reported by Marca, Bellingham knows everything that is happening and although it is difficult to guarantee anything, his gestures invite us to think that he wants to play for Real Madrid.

His current contract with Borussia Dortmund expires in 2025, but teams are already planning to make a move for him next year. It is believed that Real Madrid have been interested in Bellingham since before he joined the German club.

Borussia Dortmund are rumoured to be looking to hand him improved terms in their quest to keep him at the club but Bellingham has not agreed an extension till now.

This might be good news for Real Madrid. However, this does not rule out large chasing clubs like as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea in the least, since they are very much in the race to sign Bellingham with Los Blancos and the player’s intentions are not exactly clear.

Recently, a price tag was said to have been allocated to the prodigy by BVB, which, while hefty, is not a figure Real Madrid cannot match. The race to sign Bellingham continues, and it appears that Los Blancos has a lead over the other contenders.
