Real Madrid have been the most active team in the transfer market, as it is not even July and they have already signed a handful of top players this summer window in Bernardo Silva, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, and Marc Cucurella with more players set to join.

Jose Mourinho is mostly focused on revamping the spine of a team that has been broken down far too easily by opponents these last two seasons, as Real Madrid are bringing in defensive players and midfielders with the likes of Riccardo Calafiori, Nico Schlotterbeck, Alessandro Bastoni, Enzo Fernandez, and Mateus Fernandes squarely on the transfer radar.

But Real Madrid are also being linked to forwards. In addition to a Galactic splurge on Michael Olise, Florentino Perez and the club are mulling over a possible striker to add to the mix. It is not a priority for the club, but if Gonzalo Garcia is sold, Real could be looking for a veteran striker to join the team as a true box presence as long as it fits their budget.

Here are three budget friendly striker signings for Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho to consider.

Vedat Muriqi, Mallorca

Since Mallorca are being relegated, Vedat Muriqi makes the most sense as a proven La Liga striker who could come right in and score goals for Real Madrid. With 23 goals last season on a terrible team, Muriqi was right there with Kylian Mbappe in the Pichichi race, showing great instincts and finishing in front of goal.

Muriqi flopped when he made a big move to Serie A's Lazio several years ago, but he has found himself right at home in La Liga. There is no way Muriqi would be a starter, but with his incredible box presence, ability to draw fouls, and instincts off the ball, Muriqi is more than just a goal scorer.

Ante Budimir, Osasuna

Real Madrid have been watching Ante Budimir as a possible signing for a couple of years. At 34 years of age, Budimir is two years older than Muriqi and generally past the point that Real Madrid would sign a player, but in Budimir, the club would be looking for a one year rental to boost their goal scoring.

Like Muriqi, Budimir is an expert at using his body to shield the ball and hold play up. He is more one dimensional, though, and doesn't bring others into the game as much as he tries to find shooting opportunities for himself, but with 17 goals last season, he was legitimately one of the top three strikers in La Liga.

Deniz Undav, Stuttgart

At 29 years of age and playing for a Champions League level side in Stuttgart, Deniz Undav is both the youngest and best overall player on this list. The German national team striker is a cult hero, and watching his rise from the lower leagues of Germany to Real Madrid would be an insane story for people to witness.

But Undav is legitimately one of the most purely talented strikers in the world right now. He had 19 goals, 6 assists, and 1.3 key passes per game for Stuttgart last season. Because of his age and the club he plays for, Undav would not be as cheap as Budimir and Muriqi, but he would still likely cost not much more than 20 million euros or so.
