Real Madrid got through to the Copa del Rey final thanks to a late goal by Rudiger in extra time against Real Sociedad on Tuesday. The game ended in a 4-4 draw and Real Madrid advanced with a 5-4 win on aggregate.

Although Real Madrid's forwards and midfielders played well, the same cannot be said for the defenders, who conceded four goals. Here is a look at the three stars and three flops from Real Madrid's match against Real Sociedad.

Star: LW Vinicius Junior

Vinicius Jr has demonstrated once again why he is a big-game player by providing two assists against Real Sociedad.

Vinicius's first assist was an exquisite trivela pass, which was calmly finished past Real Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro by Endrick. His second assist came from a vital cross to Jude Bellingham for the equalizer in the 82nd minute, shortly after Real Sociedad had gone ahead on aggregate.

Although Vinicius was not on the scoresheet he came close on many occasions. In recent weeks, there have been concerns about Vinicius’ dip in form, but this performance reaffirms why he is one of the best players in the world right now.

Star: AM Jude Bellingham

The English midfielder is currently one of the most important players for Real Madrid.

Bellingham delivered another solid performance against Real Sociedad. His passing was sharp, and he also fulfilled his defensive duties well.

At one point, it looked like Real Madrid could be knocked out of the Copa del Rey, but Bellingham scored a superb goal to bring his Real Madrid back into the match. He also came very close to scoring another. He covered a lot of ground throughout the game, even during extra time.

Star: DM Aurelien Tchouameni

The French defensive midfielder has turned things around at Real Madrid after a slow start to the season. He was pivotal in the midfield and was impressive both on and and off the ball.

Tchouameni found the back of the net as well, heading the ball past the goalkeeper from a corner.

Flop: RB Lucas Vazquez

Vazquez put in a disappointing performance once again. He seems to be lacking confidence. The Spaniard struggled defensively and was caught out of position during Real Sociedad's attacks.

While his passing was solid and he provided 3 key passes, such defensive displays will not benefit the team in any way.

Flop: CB David Alaba

Alaba delivered one of his worst performances in a Real Madrid shirt. While he may have been unlucky with the two own goals, there are no excuses for being easily beaten in the air by Oyarzabal for Real Sociedad's fourth goal.

Alaba returned to the team after a long period on the sidelines due to injury. This performances has raised questions whether it is too soon for him to play. He certainly needs to get back to the training ground and work on improving after this disappointing display.

Flop: GK Andriy Lunin

Lunin struggled in front of goal during this match. It was one of the rare occasions when the Ukrainian goalkeeper had a poor game.

He was beaten through the legs for two of the goals. While he made a few good saves, conceding four goals in a game is never ideal.

Real Madrid will play either Barcelona or Atlético Madrid in the final. While the attackers put in a strong performance against Real Sociedad, the defenders need to improve and bring their A-game in the final.
