Jose Mourinho has been wiping the floor with everyone else, demanding new signings for Real Madrid that president Florentino Perez is all too happy to oblige in bringing in. There is something unique about the Special One that leads Florentino to give him insurmountable power to do what he pleases, whereas not even Zinedine Zidane nor Carlo Ancelotti, despite alll their Champions League winning pedigree, could get reasonable defensive signings through the door.

So far, Mou already has Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, and now new left back Marc Cucurella agreed to as new signings from top European clubs before he even coaches a game in his second stent at Real Madrid.

And still, he is expected to bring in more talent. Here are three world-class center backs Real Madrid could feasibly bring in for Mourinho after already securing the signature of Cucurella from Chelsea for 60 million euros.

Nico Schlotterbeck, Borussia Dortmund

Although Nico Schlotterbeck was freshly signed to a new contract extension after leading Dortmund to second in the Bundesliga as one of the league's biggest stars last season, that new deal includes a release clause between 50-60 million euros that was apparently signed with the idea in mind of having Schlotty move on to a top club outside of Germany instead of joning rivals Bayern Munich - and close friends Real Madrid were presumed to be that club.

Schlotterbeck is just entering his prime, and he has fulfilled his potential at Dortmund after being so good for Freiburg he was already on Real Madrid's radar back then. This is a guy who knows how to play on an island defensively with how aggressive Dortmund are, so he can meet the expectations of how a Real Madrid center back is expected to play. He is a special athlete, great technically on the ball, and a mentality monster.

Alessandro Bastoni, Inter Milan

Alessandro Bastoni is an even bigger dream target for Real Madrid, and he may actually be Mourinho's top dream target at the position. The left footed Inter Milan center back already saw his teammate Denzel Dumfries join forces with Mou, who was a treble winner for the Nerazzurri as their manager nearly 20 years ago.

While Bastoni can be overrated by some observers, his technical quality and ball progression as a center back are certainly not. And he is a smart covering defender. How he translates to a back four remains to be seen without as much help around him, but a player of his caliber is hard to envision flopping, even at the mighty Real Madrid.

Ruben Dias, Manchester City

Although Portuguese veteran center back and former Premier League Player of the Season Ruben Dias seemed to bee off the Real Madrid radar at one point, Jose Mourinho has evidently brought him back into the fold as a key target recently, particularly after the signing of Chelsea left back Marc Cucurella and now the likelihood of Dias's Manchester City teammate Josko Gvardiol signing a lucrative contract extension with the Citizens.

As Real Madrid exposed a bit in the Champions League knockouts, Ruben Dias is no longer the same player at 29 that he was even three years ago, but he is still a world-class center back who is intelligent off the ball and accurate on it. Real Madrid and Mourinho want veteran stars now, and Dias is as seasoned and reliable as they come in central defense.
