Real Madrid got back on track with a 2-0 win against Levante in La Liga to help improve a gloomy mood at the Estadio Bernabeu. Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde were booed for what fans percieve to have played key roles in the club's decision to part ways with Xabi Alonso.
Kylian Mbappe netted his 30th goal of the season from the penalty spot to make it one-nil before Raul Asencio headed home a second. It was a strong second half showing after a frustrating first half.
While Madrid moved to within a point of Barcelona in the title race there were some players who dissapointed. One of those was Eduardo Camavinga who looked way off the pace and might have given Alvaro Arbeloa a decision to make ahead of the AS Monaco game on Tuesday.
Camavinga disappoints in Madrid win over Levante
Camavinga hasn't been at his best this season and he was one of the worst performers against Levante today. The French midfielder won only two of six ground duels, was dribbled past twice, and lost possession eight times.
Arbeloa had seen enough by half-time, opting to bring the Frenchman off for Arda Guler. This helped turn the tide as Guler assisted Asencio for Madrid's second.

Camavinga's place in Arbeloa's team is surely in doubt now and it follows a haphazard showing in the 3-2 defeat to Albacete in the Copa del Rey. He has been at the Bernabeu since 2021 and was expected to become one of the world's best midfielders but there is something missing.
Could Camavinga be sold this summer?
It looks likely that a Madrid rebuild will take place this summer as Florentino Perez backs whoever replaces Alonso permanently. His former manager told the board that the team lacked a number six but his suggestion of signing Martin Zubimendi fell on deaf ears.
Reports claim that Madrid are interested in Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit. If one of those two were to arrive at the Bernabeu it could mean Camavinga makes way.
Liverpool are reportedly interested in the 23-year-old who has three years left on his contract. He isn't the only member of Los Blancos' squad who are coming under scrutiny but his unconvincing performances make him a candidate to head for the exit door.
Camavinga will need to improve with Madrid still hoping for a successful end to the season. They are still battling it out with Barca for the La Liga title while looking likely to advance to the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
