On paper, Real Madrid has the deepest group of attacking players not only in Europe but the whole world. Highlighted by Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, and Kylian Mbappe the attacking line is a formidable one to go up against on any given matchday.

While Vinicius and Mbappe grab most of the headlines, one of Real Madrid's unsung heroes this season has been Rodrygo. The Brazilian has registered 20 goal contributions this season and has proven himself at the highest level with the club. He has helped them win La Liga titles and Champions League trophies.

However, with Rodrygo sometimes getting the short end of the stick in favour of Vinicius and Mbappe, some speculate this could cause the attacker to look at potentially leaving the club to get the recognition he deserves.

According to reports, there are two Premier League teams (alongside Saudi Arabia's interest) looking to secure his signature.

According to a report from Jorge C Picon, Manchester City remain interested in signing Rodrygo this summer but could face competition from cross-city rivals Manchester United as both teams look to bolster their attacking lines for next season.

Rodrygo has been of interest to Manchester City and Pep Guardiola for many years now. With the City attack struggling to produce goals, signing the Brazilian would improve them immensely.

Any potential transfer for the attacker would be a difficult task as Real Madrid would not let him go easily, Rodrygo has a €1 billion release clause in his contract and Los Blancos have stated before they will take nothing less.

Not only would a deal be financially difficult for Manchester City, they could also face competition from their bitter city rivals, Manchester United. Much like City, United have been toothless in attack this season and adding the Brazilian would no doubt make United a feared attacking line again.
