Carlo Ancelotti was Endrick's first manager at Real Madrid, but the Brazilian has so far failed to make his mark in Spain.

Under Ancelotti, Endrick played 37 games, but scored just seven times with one assist. Now under the tutelage of Xabi Alonso, he has made just one La Liga appearance, which was an 11-minute cameo in a 4-0 win over Valencia.

Ancelotti is now Brazil's manager, and he has yet to call Endrick up. This is no surprise as he is not playing at his club. The Italian appears to be letting Endrick down gently ahead of the World Cup next year.

The Brazil boss said was quoted by Fabrizio Romano saying, "Endrick needs to talk to Real Madrid to find out what's best for him… he’s very young. This won't be his last World Cup.

"He can play in the 2026 World Cup because he has quality, but he could also be in the 2030 World Cup, or 2034, and maybe even 2038."

Ancelotti is known for having great man management skills, so he is giving Endrick the heads up that he will not likely be part of his plans this summer. However, the young Brazilian will still get opportunities in the future.

Endrick could benefit from a loan move away from Real Madrid

His comments on his situation at Real Madrid convey that the player needs to get more game time. This could be on loan, with Endrick linked with multiple clubs across Europe.

Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais are both possible options for Endrick in Ligue 1. The Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart has also been mentioned as a potential destination.

It will be disappointing for Endrick to leave Madrid, even if it is only on loan. However, this is what he must do to save his season. It is not good for Endrick's development for him to keep sitting on the bench with Los Blancos.

Many great players have benefited from loans away from their parent clubs. Sir David Beckham went on loan from Manchester United to Preston North End. He went on to become a hero at United, Real Madrid, the Los Angeles Galaxy, and Paris Saint-Germain.

If Endrick is successful on a potential loan during the second half of the season, it will give him an outside chance of making Ancelotti's World Cup roster. However, even if he does not make it to the tournament next year, there will be future opportunities for the 19-year-old.
