Carlo Ancelotti wants Real Madrid to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool - The club are now reportedly lining up a transfer offer.

Carlo Ancelotti is not perceived well in the city of Liverpool - At least not the red side of it. Not only did Ancelotti give Liverpool a few blows during his time as Real Madrid and Chelsea coach but Ancelotti is also the former Everton boss. This will never go down well with Liverpool fans.

And now, to rub salt into the wounds even more, Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring one of Liverpool's best players to Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti demands Real Madrid complete Liverpool transfer ASAP

According to a report from Daily Mail, Carlo Ancelotti is personally involved in the pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real Madrid. The Italian coach has personally requested that the club completes the deal since it would alleviate his injury stresses, at least in the right-back position.

The English report also suggests that Real Madrid are prepared to submit an official transfer offer in the coming weeks, worth around £20m (€24m).

Real Madrid have the power in their hands here. They know that Trent has had his head swayed and that his heart is no longer with staying at Liverpool. Therefore, they can pay a little fee to get him sooner or they can wait to sign him for free.

Either way, the result is the same - Trent is likely to be a Real Madrid player in 2025. It seems to be a case of when, not if. Let's hope it remains the case.

It is clear to see why Carlo Ancelotti would like to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold. Even ignoring the blatant injury to Dani Carvajal which is halting Real Madrid's defence, Trent is one of the best full-backs in the world so he always seemed destined to sign for Real Madrid.
