Over the last number of summer transfer windows, Real Madrid have been bringing in the last few players to complete their puzzle that will secure the club's success for future years to come.

In the last two summer transfer windows alone, we have seen the club bring in Jude Bellingham in 2023 and Kylian Mbappe in 2024. The two players are arguably the two most important players in Real Madrid's squad and will be expected to be the ones who show up when the team needs them most.

While Real Madrid's squad for the future is nearly complete it is still missing some pieces that could make them a truly invincible team. One area of the squad that is lacking is in the defense, the club is looking to bring in reinforcements in the summer to patch up this seasons leaky defense.

The one player that has been linked with a move to Real Madrid the most is Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Liverpool fullback's move to the Spanish capital is said to be "99% complete", which will no doubt be music to fans' ears. There is still one question being asked, however: how long will he sign for? Well, it seems that the question has its answer.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's Real Madrid contract would be five years long

As reported by MARCA, Trent Alexander-Arnold has a five-year contract offer on the table from Real Madrid, which would tie the Englishman to the club until at least 2030.

Five-year contracts are somewhat common at Real Madrid when it comes to signing young players. Others like Kylian Mbappe, Arda Guler, and Eduardo Camavinga also all signed contracts starting at five-years in length, which gives the club plenty of time should they need to sign them to a new contract to thwart off interest from other clubs.

It has also been reported by Fabrizio Romano that although Alexander-Arnold is a big name, his salary is still within Real Madrid's policy and structure, which is good news for the club if he decides to accept the offer.

Alexander-Arnold seems like he will be the final piece in Real Madrid's puzzle when it comes to building the strongest starting lineup in the world. When the 2025/26 season rolls around, Real Madrid will be the club that no team wants to see on their schedule.
