Real Madrid need to be more buyers than sellers in the coming summer transfer window with all the needs they have defensively and in the middle of the park, as Florentino Perez's over emphasis on attacking talent has created a lot of weaknesses in terms of Real's ability to stay in control of matches.

But with rumors that Real Madrid actually want to cull the size of the squad this year and reduce competition for places, Madridistas can expect a couple of notable sales this summer, particularly in the attack.

Real Madrid want to bring Endrick back from what is already a highly successful loan spell with Lyon in Ligue 1, but in order to help make space for him, Real Madrid are willing to give up on young striker Gonzalo Garcia, even selling the Spaniard permanently.

Gonzalo Garcia is getting calls

According to new information from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are fielding calls for Garcia and are already getting a lot of interest in the quality goal scoring striker. Per Fab, there have been about six or seven teams officially registering interest in Garcia, including both loan propositions and permanent deals.

Most Madridistas would prefer to see an emerging talent like Gonzalo Garcia leave on loan or with a permanent transfer in place that holds a buy back clause, similar to the deal that will bring burgeoning Argentinian talent Nico Paz back to the Santiago Bernabeu from Como next season.

Garcia has scored six goals this season in limited minutes with the movement off the ball, finishing, and aerial prowess that makes the 22 year old viewed by many in Spain as potential the next big thing for the national team at the striker position.

Real Madrid know full well how much these profiles can help the team at the 9, as they have missed Joselu. Garcia can be the answer there, but with Kylian Mbappe hoarding minutes in the middle and then Vinicius Junior starting on the left wing, there really is not much room for Garcia, who even started as a right winger, laughably enough, in one game for Real Madrid this season.

A team like Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga that is competing at a Champions League level could be a great landing spot for Garcia, who has shown even at Real Madrid in brief minutes that he can meet that level. The right landing spot could do wonders for both Garcia's career and Madrid.
