Real Madrid have found an absolute gem in Gonzalo Garcia.

In three games, Garcia has provided the team with two crucial goals and an assist, and that does not even begin to tell the whole story.

Garcia has been exceptional in every single facet of the game, and has left Real Madrid fans drooling for more. He was great against Salzburg on Thursday, just like a few other players.

It is exactly what Real Madrid need in Kylian Mbappe's understudy, and while it has been brilliant for fans and the club to see one of their own go on and become really important in just three games, it may not be good for someone else.

Real Madrid signed Endrick two years ago, and he joined the club officially last season. While he had a good season albeit in limited minutes, he was never given the importance he deserved.

Endrick would many times be an unused substitute under Carlo Ancelotti, and he was hoping to make a good mark on Xabi Alonso as soon as he was able to.

Then, he got injured, and had to miss the entirety of the Club World Cup that Garcia is currently shining in.

Life can be cruel sometimes, but let's break it down whether it is just luck.

No, it is not. Garcia has fully earned his right to play for the first team after 25 goals for Castilla in a record-breaking individual season. He also scored a crucial goal for the senior team earlier in the season.

However, what we have seen in these three Club World Cup games is that Garcia is much more polished than Endrick at this current point.

He does a lot of the things Alonso wants his striker to do, and he does them well. Garcia's ceiling may not be as high as Endrick's, but he has certainly raised his floor, and the team's as well.

It now leaves Endrick in a tough spot where he must perform in limited minutes, or else he would have to see a Castilla player take his minutes and his spot in the first team.
