Real Madrid have an absolute gem in the form of Jude Bellingham. Ever since he has joined the club, Bellingham has shown brilliance in almost every single game. He has become one of the leaders of this superstar-rich team at just 21 years old, and it goes to show how amazing he really is.
We're not the only ones who think so. There is something about Bellingham that just attracts people towards him. He is so good at so many facets of the game that it is hard to find a glaring weakness.
The best thing about Bellingham, though, is none of what has been mentioned already. His footballing ability is one of the things that everyone loves about him, but what makes the Englishman so special is the bond he forms with the fans.
Bellingham truly loves the club and its fans. He adores them. He'd die for them, and Marco Reus has just testified for that.
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham earns plenty of praise from former teammate Marco Reus
In a recent interview, Reus was asked about Bellingham when he first arrived at Borussia Dortmund in 2021, about which Reus only said good things.
He said: “He was 17 and I saw immediately he had the strength and quality to play for this club.
“He’s someone who wants to always play 90-95 minutes and gives his life for the club. He has a big talent and heart, and you can see it in Madrid, too. The stats speak for him, especially last year.”
That is exactly it. That is what every Real Madrid fan loves about Bellingham. He wears his heart on his sleeve and goes out to the pitch, willing to do anything and everything for his club.
So many times, Bellingham has carried Real Madrid out of a very bad phase. He has powered the club to victory on a number of times, that it is hard to imagine a Real Madrid team without him even existed. He seems to have been around for so long, while in reality, it has only been two seasons.
Bellingham is everything Real Madrid want in a player. He has the ability to do everything that Real Madrid want him to do. He can do any role the coach wants him to play, but most importantly, he loves the club and, as Reus said, he would give his life for it.
