Real Madrid had to dig deep to come back from behind in a rough 3-2 win against Leganes at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

A brace from Kylian Mbappe sandwiched a Jude Bellingham equaliser as Carlo Ancelotti's side struggled to defend Leganes at every opportunity. They did get the job done, and got themselves within touching distance of Barcelona, who play on Sunday.

Here are the player ratings from the match.

GK Andriy Lunin

A simple performance from Lunin, who replaced Thibaut Courtois between the sticks for the night. He did not have much to do all night, as his first save came after the 80th minute mark. However, he did concede two goals, none of which were really his fault. Rating: 6.5

RB Lucas Vazquez

Another terrible performance from Lucas Vazquez. Had some cutbacks that were half-decent but was a big reason why Real Madrid were struggling in defensive transitions. He was also at fault for scuffing a clearance in the build up to one of Leganes' goals. Rating: 4.5

CB Raul Asencio

The best Real Madrid defender on the pitch. Did what he had to do to the best of his abilities, and was one of the reasons Real Madrid did not concede more than just two goals. Asencio was great once again, as he does well to become a nailed-on starter at the club. Rating: 7.5

CB Antonio Rudiger

An average performance from Rudiger. Nothing terrible, but nothing incredible. Just there. Did his job. Rating: 6

LB Fran Garcia

Another full-back who struggled on the night. Was not able to contain Leganes on the left flank, especially in the first half. Not a good performance, and Real Madrid's left back conundrum continues. Rating: 5

CM Eduardo Camavinga

Not the best game from Camavinga as he struggled to cover ground in so many of Leganes' attacks. Passed the ball well (44/48) but was only able to win four of his 12 duels. Rating: 5.5

CM Luka Modric

Was crucial in calming things down for Real Madrid with his patient feet. Controlled the tempo very well, and passed the ball at a great rate as well. Was not incredible, but did what he was asked to do. Rating: 7

AM Jude Bellingham

The best player on the pitch by a country mile. Everything Real Madrid did well went through him. He scored the equaliser for Real Madrid, and looked like their most dangerous player at every single occasion. This was easily one of Bellingham's best performances of the year, and you could just tell that he knew he was better than everyone else. Rating: 9

RW Arda Guler

Won the penalty for Real Madrid's first goal of the night. He also had four key passes on the night, and passed the ball around relatively well. Guler was certainly better than he has been in recent weeks, but there is a long way to go for him to reach the standards he set for him. Rating: 7

CF Kylian Mbappe

A good performance from the Frenchman. He scored two crucial goals, one from a penalty and another from a well-worked free kick. He was lively all night, and created a lot of chances for himself. Arguably could have done better but did enough to get his team past the finish line. Scoring a brace generally means you have done well, right? Rating: 8

LW Brahim Diaz

A decent performance. Worked hard off the ball, and could have done better in some important sequences. Rating: 6.5
