Jurgen Klopp makes surprising decision on Real Madrid job

Carlo Ancelotti's days at Real Madrid are numbered. The manager has won it all with Los Blancos, but it's about time he departed. His methods are not working anymore, and it would be better for all the parties involved that they part ways sooner rather than later.

The upcoming Copa Del Rey final will be key in deciding the details of Ancelotti's future. Some reports have suggested that a loss against Barcelona would seal the bags for the Italian manager, and a win could probably elongate his stay in Madrid.

But considering the recent form of Real Madrid, it is not wrong to assume that they are not in the very best position to beat Barcelona, to whom they have already lost a cup final earlier this season. With that considered, it is almost certain that Ancelotti will be leaving.

Several names have emerged as potential successors for the manager. Unless you live under a rock, you must be aware that Xabi Alonso is the most popular name around.

Jurgen Klopp is also under serious consideration. In fact, it has been stated that one of Florentino Perez's most trusted advisers is pressuring the president to move for the German manager.

Jurgen Klopp may not be joining Real Madrid anytime soon

Although Klopp's name is one of the most highlighted, the manager has not shown any interest in joining Los Blancos. He has only recently joined Red Bull football in an administrative role, and though he was reported to have been unhappy with the new job, the idea was swiftly brushed off by his top agent.

According to The Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp may not be aiming to return to a management post anytime soon. According to the report, the manager will not return to coaching until 2026, ruling out a move to Real Madrid, who are in need of a manager immediately.

Personally, I would choose Xabi Alonso over Jurgen Klopp, who is more easily accessible and may be more suited to turning things around with the shambolic team that Madrid has become.
