This would suit Real Madrid. While Los Blancos often wait to sign such players on free deals, they are not afforded the same luxury this time around, due to the demands of the squad.
MARCA claims that Real Madrid know that Liverpool will be open to selling Trent Alexander-Arnold in the January transfer window. It is expected that Liverpool could still ask for a significant amount of money. Real Madrid will decide their next moves based on what happens in the coming weeks.
Trent Alexander-Arnold would come in and slot straight into the right-back role. The choice between him and Dani Carvajal is down to Carlo Ancelotti, but Trent is a better option than Lucas Vazquez.
The Liverpool defender is a player who Carlo Ancelotti knows well, from his days managing Liverpool's rivals Everton. Indeed, the Real Madrid manager is believed to be central to the push.
