The painful decision Real Madrid have to make with their rising young star

One of the many criticisms people have of Real Madrid deals with their history of young players at the club, specifically around the teenage years. Real doesn't have the best history when it comes to developing young talent, whether they're from the academy or arrived at a young age from elsewhere and came right into the first team.

Nine times out of ten, youngsters aren't given a fair chance to break into the loaded first team squad and are loaned out to other clubs where they tend to thrive in their new environment.

The latest example of this is Nico Paz. While he did play a handful of games for the first team, he was never going to be an established starter and was loaned out to Como, where he has become one of the best players in Serie A.

We've seen this loan strategy work out with other players before as well like Brahim Diaz, who was loaned out to AC Milan for a few seasons and returned to Real Madrid as a completely new player. He is now a crucial part of Xabi Alonso's squad after taking time to develop elsewhere.

One player in the Real Madrid squad who could benefit from a loan move elsewhere is Endrick. The 19-year-old arrived last year with his expectations but with the attacking depth at Real Madrid it was always going to be hard for the teenager to find a place, and it seems he has now finally realized this as well.

As reported by ESPN, Endrick is open to a loan move away from Real Madrid in search of gametime, with the Brazilian yet to play a single minute so far this season. The striker is fully recovered from his hamstring injury that kept him out of action since May, but he still has yet to have his name called by Xabi Alonso this season.

Endrick's frustrations finally boiled over during Real's matchup with Getafe this past weekend, when he was told to warm up and then kicked a water bottle in frustration when told he wasn't coming on. It seems he finally came to the realization he has to leave Real Madrid to find game time, and in all honesty, it's for the best.

At only 19 years old, he's wasting his crucial formative years on the bench when he needs to be playing every week and with the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior starting every week, game time is going to be few and far between.

Several European clubs, such as Marseille, West Ham, and Newcastle, have been eyeing a loan move for Endrick, and with the January transfer window rapidly approaching, it would be in the best interest of both the player and the club to find a place for Endrick to show his talents.
