3 Real Madrid transfers which would build on the Kylian Mbappe hype
1. Alphonso Davies
Bringing in another world-class defender would maintain the overall squad balance for Carlo Ancelotti and Alphonso Davies would certainly fill that calibre.
The Ghana-born Canada international is one of, if not THE best left-back in the world currently. Therefore, it seems like the natural progression path for him to join Real Madrid from Bayern Munich.
Having scored at the Bernabeu already this season, Davies appears to be on his way out of Bayern Munich soon. It is widely-documented that his contract expires in the summer of 2025. Therefore, realistically Bayern Munich *could* keep Davies for another season but they would then run the risk of losing him for free.
Real Madrid are prepared to pay a reduced fee so it could come down to it "being better than nothing" from Bayern's perspective. After all, they are struggling to tie him down to a new contract, so it seems like Davies has Madrid and Madrid only on his mind.
