Real Madrid masterfully plot next big transfer to follow Kylian Mbappe
According to a report from ESPN, Real Madrid are plotting yet another sensational move to follow up Kylian Mbappe. It is believed that next on the agenda is to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, turning their attention from attack to defence.
As reported by The Real Champs yesterday, Alphonso Davies has taken a step closer to joining Real Madrid, after talks about extending his Bayern Munich stay have stalled.
It is widely documented that Alphonso Davies dreams of playing for Real Madrid. As one of the best full-backs in the world, it is no surprise that he has his eyes set on the biggest club in the world and the current European champions. Therefore, reading between the lines it is easy to assume that Davies is stalling his Bayern Munich talks, with a view on Real Madrid in his mind.
From Bayern Munich's perspective, the ultimatum is clear: Either Alphonso Davies renews his contract or he will be sold this summer. Slowly but surely, this is working in Real Madrid's favour.

Until this point, Real Madrid remained calm. However, if the report from ESPN is anything to go by, then Real Madrid fans can anticipate further transfer activity from the Blancos. After all, it would set the optimism for the new season high to have Endrick, Kylian Mbappe AND Alphonso Davies deals sorted.
It remains to be seen what the potential transfer of Alphonso Davies means for current Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy. However, it must be said that neither player is justified on the bench. Therefore, Carlo Ancelotti must make a decision surrounding Ferland Mendy but this will come in due time.
Do you think Alphonso Davies would be a good signing for Real Madrid?
